We are aware of the hazards of cross contamination in the dental clinic and take all possible precautions for your safety as well as ours.

All possible materials are disposed, including gloves, glasses, suction tips etc.

All precautions are taken, where AIDS and Hepatitis are concerned.

What is done How it is done
Disposables
Use of gloves, masks, protective eye wear, disposables such as needles, syringes, gloves, wipes, suction tips, scalpel blades, glasses etc. & employment of proper hand washing methods & high-vacuum evacuation.
Pre sterilization cleaning
Meticulous cleaning of equipment & instruments are carried out prior to subjecting them to disinfection / sterilization procedures.
Disinfection
Use of chemical disinfectants such as: glutaraldehyde, ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, sodium hypochlorite, etc.
Sterilization- Autoclaving
Using steam under pressure, hot air and boiling water &Chemicals
Equipment & Materials used

Contaminated waste
Contaminated wastes are properly segregated, and safely disposed without giving a chance for cross contamination
Preventive measures
Doctors & Staff are very much aware of the importance of proper infection control measures. They adhere to all norms in this respect. Doctors are all vaccinated against Hepatitis B.
